Edle Aasland, LPC
I have been honored to work alongside individuals and families going through difficult moments in their life specifically those struggling with an eating disorder and trauma. Co-morbid disorders with eating disorders and trauma unfortunately get left alone by many professionals, it is my mission that everyone have the opportunity to receive the upmost care during their most difficult and most rewarding part of their journey. Throughout my profession, I have held leadership positions with the intent to improve the care that individuals receive in treatment and I continue to do this with the families and individuals I serve.
My approach is that we have it within us to heal and it is my commitment to foster and nurture that aspect of yourself in order to reach emotional freedom.

My great passion is bringing healing to individuals helping them build healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthening family relationships. Sustainable progress comes with experiencing connection with loved ones, and an individual feeling whole and complete. I believe that people can make change that supports personal growth and effective family communication in a safe environment filled with grace.
I am a licensed professional counselor with a demonstrated track record working with complex mental health issues and the family systems involved with them. I have experience with group, individual, and family therapy. No single approach is the right one for everyone so I bring years of training and professional experience to my clients. I have training in trauma based therapy, eating disorders and addictions, adolescent issues and family systems.
I see this work as an honor and a privilege to be able to walk along side individuals and families in their journeys for growth.
